Information Technology Executive Recruiter The IT Systems Support Administrator is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization’s core IT infrastructure and systems. This role ensures the stability, security, and performance of systems including Windows servers, SQL Server environments, Active Directory, and related enterprise applications. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and capable of resolving both day‑to‑day support issues and more complex system challenges.

Key Responsibilities Systems & Infrastructure Support

Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments.

Manage and support Active Directory (user accounts, groups, GPOs, permissions).

Monitor system health, performance, and availability across servers and services.

Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and upgrades.

Database & Application Support

Support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including basic administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Assist with database backups, restores, and performance monitoring.

Support business‑critical applications that rely on SQL Server and Windows‑based infrastructure.

User & Access Management

Provision, modify, and decommission user accounts and access rights.

Ensure appropriate security controls and adherence to least‑privilege principles.

Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated user issues.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system‑level issues.

Respond to system alerts and incidents to minimize downtime.

Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex problems.

Security & Compliance

Assist in implementing and maintaining system security best practices.

Apply security patches and updates in accordance with IT policies.

Support audits, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Documentation & Process Improvement

Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, automation, and support processes.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.

Strong experience with Windows Server administration.

Hands‑on experience supporting Active Directory.

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (administration, troubleshooting, backups).

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
