New Jersey Respiratory Associates is growing, and we are looking for a driven, detail-oriented
HR Generalist
to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting employees, and can balance core HR functions with light operational responsibilities in our Vent Division.
The Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations across the organization, serving as a key resource for employee relations, leave administration, scheduling, and payroll coordination. This role ensures consistent communication, compliance with company policies, and accurate documentation of HR activities.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations
Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues, concerns, and policy guidance.
Support investigations and assist leadership in resolving ER matters in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation related to employee relations, corrective actions, and performance matters.
Partner with Operations to ensure consistent communication with field staff and leadership teams.
HR Operations
Support benefits administration, leave-of-absence tracking, compliance monitoring, and handbook adherence.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Vent Division Support Vent Scheduling
Assist with scheduling coordination for Vent Therapists across multiple facilities.
Communicate shift confirmations, scheduling changes, and coverage updates with clinical and operations teams.
Vent Payroll
Review bi-weekly Vent payroll submissions.
Audit timesheets for accuracy, ensuring consistency with schedule and facility needs.
Resolve payroll discrepancies in partnership with Finance and Operations.
Qualifications
2–4 years of Human Resources experience (Healthcare experience preferred).
Strong understanding of employee relations, HR best practices, and basic employment law.
Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable coordinating schedules and handling time-sensitive operational tasks.
Experience with HRIS/payroll systems is a plus.
