Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafés. Since then, Flynn has more than tripled in size to become the second largest Panera franchisee in the world. We continue to grow by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators.
Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread. We operate on a decentralized business model with geographic areas led by Market Leaders and managed by Area Directors, General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers. We have over 190 years of combined restaurant experience and 60+ years with Flynn Group.
Position Overview Our Panera Bread cafés are upscale, friendly cafés featuring baked breads and pastries. We serve made‑to‑order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. As a manager, you will supervise up to 75 staff members, ensuring top‑quality service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outstanding leadership and serve as a role‑model for the team.
Ensure team members deliver excellent customer service.
Take ownership of the business performance of the restaurant.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety and sanitation standards.
Run quality opening, mid‑and closing shifts to maintain a consistent positive customer experience.
Coordinate the entire operation during scheduled shifts.
Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
Assist the specialist with bakery‑café training and competency.
Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within company guidelines and values.
Promote a professional image and embody our values and beliefs.
Requirements
At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience.
Food management certifications are a plus.
"Run it Like You Own It" mentality.
Excellent organizational, customer service, and time‑management skills.
Proven track record of leadership.
Passion, energy, and positive attitude.
Ability to work under pressure with a diverse group of people.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Reference checks required.
