The Program Director of Health and Wellness will manage our growing wellness offerings, with a focus on day-to-day operations of the branch Health & Wellness program areas (i.e., Personal Training, Group Exercise, Active Older Adult (AOA), Wellness Floor and Fitness Consultations). This management-level position ensures that our programs and staff meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our strong-minded, strong-bodied members and community. You will also work closely with the Executive Director to develop strategies to increase established revenue goals, member retention and engagement.

Minimum age requirements of 21.
Bachelor's degree in the field of exercise science or related.
Minimum 2-years of experience in H&F, staff supervision and budget responsibilities.
Current certifications to teach group exercise classes and personal training.
CPR/First Aid and BBP will be required within 30 days of hire and will need to be maintained
Ability to work with a wide range of age groups, demographics and have ability to collaborate well with groups and individuals.
Strong people skills to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
Ability and desire to embrace the mission of the YMCA.
Lead by example in mission-driven customer service and the implementation of lifestyle choices.
Technical equipment knowledge and demonstrated competency in program delivery and leadership.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
