Summary We are seeking a Senior Facilities Specialist to join our team in Santa Barbara. This role is vital in ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently and safely, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
The Senior Facilities Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the function and appearance of AIHS facilities and special projects related to facilities planning. They will promptly respond to service calls and troubleshoot any operational issues on the properties, assist with project management relating to any renovations, new construction and other special projects, and participate in general cleaning and landscape related tasks along with the rest of the facilities team.
Salary Range $34.00 - $38.00 hourly (exact starting salary will be determined by a variety of factors including experience, skills, and internal equity)
Schedule Regular schedule would be Monday-Friday but may include occasional Saturdays or evening work. No "on call" duties required.
FLSE Status Non-exempt, eligible for overtime.
Education and Experience
General construction experience.
Some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and metal stud framing are preferred but not required.
Possess knowledge to safely and effectively use building maintenance tools and equipment.
Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment, including heavy equipment and power tools, in a safe and efficient manner. Forklift certification preferred but not required.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion.
Ability to learn and execute new skills.
Ability to take direction.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to the facility management team.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
Ability to lift/pull minimum of 50 lbs.
Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicles between locations.
