Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal operation. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting systems. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Calibrate and maintain electrical instruments and process control systems. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and codes, including NFPA 70E. Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI systems. Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification. Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase. Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Strong understanding and adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash). Bonus Qualifications
