Join our dynamic team as a **hybrid-remote** **Principal** **Cloud Engineer** and play a key role in shaping innovative, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. In this role, you’ll work with leading platforms like **Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS** designing and deploying infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications.* Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.* Implement and manage cloud-based applications and services.* Automate infrastructure and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.* Monitor system performance and reliability; identify and resolve technical issues.* Ensure security best practices are followed and assist with compliance requirements.* Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, or related.* Optimize cloud costs through analysis and scaling strategies.* Provide support for cloud-based environments, including on-call support as needed.* Knowledge of project management and technical analysis using tools like jira, confluence, spreadsheets* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).* 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.* Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).* Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CloudFormation).* Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).* Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.* Understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing in a cloud context.* Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.Cotality is fully committed to a work environment that embraces everyone’s unique contributions, experiences and values.
