Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
Monitor resident health, noting any changes and reporting concerns to the physician or nurse management team
Assist in developing, updating, and implementing individual care plans for residents
Supervise and mentor nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to safety protocols
Foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere among staff members, residents, and families
Serve as a resource for team members, promoting professional growth and supporting leadership development
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
Promote a culture of patient advocacy, ensuring that residents' dignity, rights, and preferences are always respected
What We're Looking For:
Current LVN licensure.
Charge nurse experience is a plus
Strong understanding of long-term care nursing protocols and procedures
Compassionate, patient, and selfless attitude towards residents and their families
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team
Leadership abilities with a desire to mentor and support nursing staff
Respect for residents, families, and coworkers, with a focus on maintaining a positive and professional environment
Ability to adapt to changing situations and provide care with empathy and professionalism
