Join a respected engineering firm as a Geotechnical Engineer in South Carolina, delivering designs for bridges, roadways, dams, and foundations. This role offers technical ownership on impactful infrastructure projects at a company known for quality, collaboration, and long-term client partnerships.
The job:
Deliver geotechnical designs for a wide range of infrastructure projects—including bridges, roadways, dams, levees, and foundation systems—ranging from basic to complex. Review and approve design drafts to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal quality standards. Conduct site visits and studies to align project execution with DOT standards and local practices. Perform soil sampling, analysis, and modeling, contributing technical insight to white papers and industry publications. Support business development by collaborating on proposals, meeting with clients, and representing the firm at industry events. Benefits
Compensation: $180,000 - $225,000 Work Environment: Hybrid flexibility with 2 days work from home. 401(k) with employer match and professionally managed investment funds. Bachelor’s in civil engineering or a related field. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). At least 8+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering. The company:
