We are looking for a Full‑Time PACU nurse for a fast‑paced outpatient surgery center.
PACU nurses are responsible for overseeing vital signs, changing bandages, and administering necessary medications
Educating families and patients about home‑care instructions
Managing respiratory instability and cardiac monitoring activities
Assessing patient’s condition after surgery is performed; ensuring that all vital signs are within range
Accurately and completely recording all findings in patient’s chart
Developing individualized care plans based on patient’s condition
Monitoring patient’s condition changes and reporting changes to the healthcare team
Performing intervention duties in the case of post‑operative emergencies
Recording sedation levels and body temperatures
Ensuring the post‑operative space is clean and sanitized
Performing other duties as requested

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license
BLS and ACLS required
PALS preferred
Minimum of one year experience in PACU or a critical care equivalent area
Licenses & Certifications
Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
