Job Title
Registered Nurse / RN (FT)
Shift Monday-Friday. Variable day shift with assigned late days. No holidays, nights or call.
Job Overview Looking for a Full Time PACU nurse for a fast-paced outpatient surgery center.
Responsibilities
Oversee vital signs, change bandages, and administer necessary medications.
Educate families and patients about homecare instructions.
Manage respiratory instability and cardiac monitoring activities.
Assess patient’s condition after surgery; ensure all vital signs are within range.
Accurately and completely record all findings in patient’s chart.
Develop individualized care plans based on patient’s condition.
Monitor patient’s condition changes and report to the healthcare team.
Perform intervention duties in case of post-operative emergencies.
Record sedation levels and body temperatures.
Ensure the post-operative space is clean and sanitized.
Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license.
BLS and ACLS required.
PALS preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in PACU or critical care equivalent area.
