The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an experienced Revenue & Reservations Manager to join our team. This position is 100% on-site, no remote work.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport Convention Center is conveniently situated just south of Miami International Airport off the Dolphin Expressway adjacent to the Blue Lagoon Business District. The hotel features 334 guestrooms, onsite dining, fitness room, outdoor pool, business center, complimentary High-Speed Internet Access, 24,000 square feet of retail space, 20,000 Square feet of Hotel Meeting and Function Space. The hotel is adjacent to the Miami Airport Convention Center with 152,000 square feet of meeting, event and exhibit space.

This position will be an exempt position and will report to the Director of Sales and Corporate Director of Revenue Management.

The ideal Revenue & Reservations Manager will have strong analytical skills, experience with revenue management systems, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. As a key member of the revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies, managing inventory, and analyzing market trends to drive profitability and growth.

Job Responsibilities:

Attend daily DT by Hilton Business Review meetings with the DOS.

Daily review and implementation of room accommodation and rate inventory controls, including weekly roll‑in controls.

Ensure group inventory and cut‑off dates are managed according to demand.

Implement all blackout dates and review monthly to adjust.

Work with Front Office to ensure sellout strategies are in place and systems are balanced daily.

Ensure PMS & General Ledger are balanced daily as it relates to past actuals.

Conduct a weekly Revenue Management Meeting where the appropriate booking period is evaluated for proper rate and availability control.

Provide a synopsis of results vs. decision from the previous week and lead discussion on future issues such as booking pace, pricing strategies, marketing opportunities and the competitive environment.

Daily review of Delphi/DMPE reports: GRC, Backlog Report, Daily Transaction reports and Overrides report; address concerns and action plans with Director of Sales.

Develop annual transient pricing and ensure consistency across all distribution channels (Netrez/OnQ PMS, GDS, Internet).

Review end‑of‑month room statistics reports including FMS, Monthly Revenue Management Reports, STAR, HILSMART, Key Hotel Marketing Reports, Report of Operations and provide critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts and results of implemented strategies.

Conduct displacement analysis of group business as needed to determine impact on RevPAR.

Review all tentative and definite group bookings to ensure they support implemented strategies.

Complete weekly booking pace reports and analysis and recommend strategy changes when needed.

Analyze past and present trends and make recommendations for future strategies.

Prepare all Weekly, Monthly, Rolling Forecasts and Annual Budget.

Review competitive shops on a consistent basis (at least once per week) and identify selling strategies and market trends.

Review demand calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars and maintain historical data on events and performance for any promotions during these demand‑generating events.

Qualifications & Skills:

At least 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience, or a 4‑year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or a 2‑year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.

Effective communication skills – verbal and written with all levels of employees and guests, with an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner.

Strong listening skills and ability to clarify concerns raised by employees and guests.

Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Commitment to attending all hotel required meetings and trainings; participation in M.O.D. coverage as required.

Compliance with DoubleTree by Hilton standards for attendance, appearance, grooming, safety, and operational efficiency.

Ability to handle problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

Analysis of complex information from various sources to meet objectives; maintain confidentiality of information.

Flexibility and willingness to work long hours; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Perform other duties as requested by management.
