Key Responsibilities
Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment from pilot to full-scale production.
Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations, production issues, and quality defects, implementing corrective actions.
Monitor process performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to ensure seamless process integration and support new product introductions.
Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in process optimization, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with process simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis platforms.
Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, safety protocols, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO).
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA
Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS)
