As the Landscape Supervisor, You Will … The Landscape Supervisor position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the weekly landscape maintenance program to ensure the high quality and consistency of the 298‑acre Hollywood Park campus. This role requires close coordination with the property managers and involves leading a team to maintain diverse grounds, including the Cosm, Retail Shops, Residences, MU4, YouTube Theater, American Airlines Plaza, Sofi Stadium, Lake Park, streets, and parking lots. Additionally, the Landscape Supervisor will assist with administrative and record keeping, utilization of proper materials and equipment, while ensuring adherence to Hollywood Park's safety protocols and requirements.
More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…
Ensure a weekly landscape maintenance schedule for HWP contract properties.
Lead and supervise a team of 6-10 crew members, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Establish and maintain a safe worksite, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols, and conducting weekly Safety Meetings.
Heavy equipment operator as needed to complete tasks and projects. (e.g. moving boxed trees, hardscape)
Execute Event day SOP and resolve event call outs.
Scheduling and implementing spraying for weed, pest and growth regulation.
Proficient in Crew member duties.
Maintain accurate record keeping of daily maintenance, equipment & tools inventory, and consumables logs.
Ensure manual spray logs are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all critical landscape maintenance activities specific to Hollywood Park.
Assist with staff parking & meals requests for events.
Coordinate with all Hollywood Park Liaisons.
Maintain and track all staff uniforms and safety equipment.
Administer staff meeting.
Provide updates and progress reports to applicable stakeholders.
Monitor and Track any property damages applicable to landscaping.
Organize and monitor workflow for efficiency and timeliness. Set priorities based on conditions, weather, special events, etc. Adjust as needed. Review work for quality, completion, accuracy and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
Provide recommendations on materials, supplies and equipment required to deliver scope of responsibilities. Assist with ordering materials, supplies, and equipment within budget.
Maintain a system of inventory and usage for all materials, supplies and equipment. Liaises with vendors on issues related to products, services and delivery.
Assist with recruitment, development and training of all department staff to be compliant with OSHA and Hollywood Park safety protocols and standards.
Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment.
Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches.
Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch.
Picking up trash and debris.
Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe.
Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers.
Proactively assist in identifying and resolving issues.
Prioritize maintaining the landscape design and aesthetic, ensuring healthy, flourishing biomes.
Maintain strong cross‑functional relationships throughout the organization.
Additional duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent; preferred degree or certification in a landscape‑related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in landscape maintenance.
Active driver’s license and record in good standing.
Able to perform duties requiring prolonged walking, standing, and stooping, as well as working in the elements of the weather.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Ability to work in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
