Job Summary The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient, and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with Patient Care Technicians, Registered Nurses, and Behavioral Health Medical Providers to ensure a safe environment and quality care for all presenting for services. The BHC completes behavioral health assessments, develops service plans, documents provided services, and coordinates discharges and care with family or significant others.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Behavioral Health. Master’s degree is preferred but not required. Preference given to candidates with a Master’s or licensed at the associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (e.g., Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage & Family therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor).
1–3 years of full‑time health‑care related work experience with adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
