Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering their professional development.
Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of manufacturing engineering projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, efficiency, and product quality.
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and capital equipment procurement for manufacturing operations.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices within engineering activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D to support operational excellence and new product introductions.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall manufacturing goals and technological advancements.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong engineering background with expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial systems.
Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to implementation within a manufacturing setting.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address intricate production and design challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, advanced automation, digital twins)
