Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automated manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex control system issues, including electrical, software, and hardware failures.
Lead the commissioning, start‑up, and validation of new machinery and automation equipment.
Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Develop and maintain comprehensive electrical schematics, control narratives, and technical documentation.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance and and production teams on automated systems.
Manage automation projects from concept to completion, including scope definition, budget, and timeline.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems and diagnose electrical/control issues.
Experience with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) and/or industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics and control panel layouts using CAD software.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and their application in machinery control systems.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) or industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka).
Proficiency in object‑oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for data acquisition or custom applications.
Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL Server) and data historians (e.g., OSI PI).
Understanding of industrial network architecture and cybersecurity principles.
