Recommended Qualifications
Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing tooling.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for tooling design and analysis.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, stamping, machining).
Knowledge of tool materials, heat treatment, and surface finishes.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and optimize tooling performance.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software for tool design validation and optimization.
Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies to tooling processes.
Familiarity with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for rapid tooling or fixture design.
Knowledge of advanced materials (e.g., composites, high-performance alloys) and their application in tooling.
