The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Mason that are seeking Tooling Engineers. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement new tooling solutions for manufacturing processes.

Perform maintenance, repair, and modification of existing production tools, dies, and fixtures.

Troubleshoot tooling-related issues during production and implement effective corrective actions.

Optimize tooling performance, longevity, and efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with production, design, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets product specifications.

Specify, procure, and manage inventory of tooling materials, components, and spare parts.

Ensure all tooling complies with safety standards and quality control procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

Expertise in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing tools (e.g., molds, dies, jigs, fixtures).

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tooling design and analysis.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, machining, or casting.

Knowledge of various tooling materials, heat treatments, and surface finishes.

Experience with tool troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) for tooling applications.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or mold flow simulation software.

Project Management experience, particularly with tooling development projects.
