$73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Quality Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.

Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Perform internal and external audits of products, processes, and the Quality Management System (QMS).

Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.

Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and material review board (MRB) activities.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Support new product development (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure quality requirements are met.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing).

3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and core quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP).

Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective/preventive actions.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (Green Belt certification preferred).

Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.

Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).

Experience conducting internal or external quality system audits.

Familiarity with specific industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485).
