Position Overview:

The Residential Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting the Pella brand as the premier choice for homeowners seeking window and door solutions. This role focuses on achieving individual sales goals through a consultative, relationship-driven approach across all Pella product offerings. The consultant will provide comprehensive solutions, design expertise, and personalized service by understanding homeowner needs and guiding them through the selection process. The Residential Sales Consultant proactively generates new business through networking, referrals, and in-home consultations, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The goal is to deliver 100% “Very Satisfied” customers and drive growth in market share, net sales, and profitability. Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Achieve individual sales and customer satisfaction objectives. Conduct in-home consultations to assess homeowner needs and recommend appropriate Pella solutions. Generate leads through referrals, networking, and participation in community events. Represent Pella at home shows, local events, and promotional activities. Build loyalty and trust with homeowners through a consultative sales approach. Prepare accurate quotes and ensure orders comply with company standards. Educate customers on product features, installation guidelines, and maintenance. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and installation. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM systems. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism. Occasionally work evenings or weekends to accommodate homeowner schedules. Skills/Knowledge

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners. Skilled in consultative selling, objection handling, and closing techniques. Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and mobile applications. Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and installation requirements. Adaptable to changing priorities and fast-paced environments. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Previous experience in residential sales, home improvement, or design is advantageous. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and navigate job sites as needed. Compensation
