Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in existing automation systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimizations through automation.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation systems, including schematics, logic diagrams, and operating procedures.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new automation equipment and integrated systems.
Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley) for industrial control systems.
Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) for automation and integration.
Ability to design and implement HMI/SCADA systems for process visualization and control.
Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in complex automation systems.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality control or guidance.
Proficiency in data analytics tools or Industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms for manufacturing data collection and analysis.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration with automation systems.
