Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems and processes. Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), HMI, and SCADA system development and troubleshooting. Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and motion control systems. Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Profinet). Experience designing and implementing industrial vision systems for quality control and guidance. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Proficiency in industrial robot programming (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots). Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration and data historians. Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, PROFINET) and cybersecurity best practices. Experience using electrical CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical) for panel design.
