D2 Government Solutions is currently seeking qualified Aircraft Mechanic II to support aircraft wash and lubrication at MacDill AFB, FL.
Responsibilities
Perform KC‑135 aircraft wash and lubrication tasks including pre‑wash preparation, masking, and post‑wash restoration.
Tow aircraft safely to and from wash facilities
Document all maintenance actions and discrepancies
Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to airframe and powerplant systems during wash/lube operations; interpret technical data and manuals.
Lead and guide Aircraft Workers during complex wash/lube tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, tool/FOD control, and nine‑hour completion thresholds.
Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in wash areas; ensure proper PPE usage and adherence
Qualifications
Formal aircraft maintenance training or FAA A&P certification
Comprehensive technical knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems
Proficiency in USAF maintenance documentation and systems
Experience with aircraft towing and wash operations
Strong safety and compliance awareness+
Secret Clearance (Tier 3)
