WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers.
Collaborates with Marketing/Design to interpret design concept into 2- dimensional patterns.
Consults with product triad to clarify concepts and lend pattern-making and fit technical expertise.
Creates first models from concept pictures.
Incorporates styling and fit changes determined by design/marketing/development during fit sessions or design process.
Inspects and critiques samples.
Creates and/or revises product specifications with construction details for production.
Ensures specifications detail construction methods that optimizes profitability.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs.
