Textile Designer (Textile Developer II)

Responsibilities
Explore ideas in textiles and print/pattern from trend through technological advancements.
Collaborate with product creation teams to deliver a high‑level athlete experience with a commercialized materials palette grounded in sustainability goals.
Drive seasonal material development in partnership with vendors and manufacturing teams from concept to commercialization, including requesting testing, tracking, and creative material solutions.
Work effectively within the materials team and cross‑functional partners (Innovation, Design, Product Merchandising, Technical Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science, Apparel, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience in apparel product creation or a similar industry.
Technical materials knowledge (yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, finishing).
Knowledge of knits, wovens, ribs, and print.
Experience partnering with vendors to develop and test a material from inception to production.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and Product Data Management.
Experience managing multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines across multiple seasons.
Information‑seeking skills and the drive to make things happen.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
Ability to travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
Experience with performance materials and industry material trends is highly desired.
