Duties: Advise clients on the interpretation and application of the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations. Provide strategic counsel on compliance matters, including internal audits and compliance programs. Review and analyze BSA/AML policies, procedures, and practices to ensure adherence to evolving regulations. Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and reports on compliance-related issues. Assist with regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, working closely with government agencies. Engage with clients to conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. Stay current with updates to federal and state regulations impacting BSA/AML compliance. Collaborate with internal teams to develop compliance strategies tailored to client needs. Requirements: 4 years of experience or senior with a minimum of 2 years of experience advising on U.S. Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering compliance. Strong understanding of federal regulations and compliance frameworks relevant to financial institutions and corporate clients. Proven ability to interpret complex regulatory language and translate it into actionable advice. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Education: J.D. from an accredited law school. Skills: In-depth knowledge of U.S. BSA/AML regulations. Exceptional communication and client management abilities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
