Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join a reputable construction company in Metairie, Louisiana. Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. - Manage payroll taxes, including preparation and submission of required documentation. - Prepare and record journal entries to support financial accuracy and transparency. - Collaborate with the accounting team to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. - Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for payroll reporting and data management. - Support audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and information. - Identify opportunities for process improvement within payroll operations.
