As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Assist with access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
- Provide customer service by following site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and responding to client needs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor security-related systems, such as cameras and alarms, and report any unusual activity or malfunctions.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
