Arcadis is pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) – Land/Site Development Projects at our Houston, Texas office.
We are seeking a highly qualified professional with a proven ability to manage and lead a team dedicated to expanding our civil commercial development portfolio within Texas. The successful candidate will hold a Professional Engineer license and possess extensive experience overseeing large-scale, complex civil development projects, including hospitals, airports, residential communities, retail centers, and educational campuses.
Role accountabilities:
Develop and grow the civil engineering practice in the Houston, Texas Region, working with current and new clients through effective business development.
Develop and manage a team that builds positive relationships and connections to facilitate new project opportunities while delivering outstanding projects to clients.
Exhibit smart and effective project management and oversight to ensure projects meet or exceed client quality expectations and Arcadis’s commercial objectives.
Engage and work directly with clients, design staff, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Well‑experienced Civil Engineer PE with more than 12 years of experience delivering civil site development projects and managing complex budgets in the Houston area.
Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer.
Experience building strong client relationships and conducting business development to grow the practice.
Experience creating a positive work environment that allows others to excel.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Commitment to health and safety.
Salary range: $136,086—$165,000 (actual salary varies).
Full‑time position. Mid‑Senior level. Professional Services industry.
