Join Arcadis as a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) focusing on land/site development projects in Houston, TX. Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Design and Engineering team within the North America Places group.

Role Description The Engineering Team at Arcadis is expanding and we are offering a career opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) for our Houston, Texas office. You will manage and lead a team, oversee large complex civil development projects such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping complexes, and educational campuses. The Civil Engineering Team delivers legacy projects for our private and public sector clients and offers growth opportunities.
Role Accountabilities
Develop and grow the civil engineering practice in the Houston region, building relationships with current and new clients through effective business development.
Build and manage a team that fosters positive relationships, facilitating new project opportunities while delivering outstanding client projects.
Provide smart, effective project management and oversight to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations for quality and Arcadis’ commercial objectives.
Engage and collaborate directly with clients, design staff, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals.
Qualifications & Experience
Well‑experienced Civil Engineer PE with over 12 years delivering civil site development projects and managing complex budgets in the Houston area.
Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer.
Experience building strong client relationships and driving business development to grow the practice.
Proven ability to create a positive work environment that enables team members to do their best work.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Commitment to health and safety.

Nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO accrue per year. Salary range: $136,086 – $165,000.
