I am currently supporting a PE advisory platform founded by experienced investors on hiring into their buy-side origination function. The firm has grown quickly, securing multiple new mandates within its first few months and is now investing in top talent to support continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Lead proactive buy‑side M&A deal sourcing across targeted sectors
Research, map, and identify acquisition targets for private equity clients
Run outbound outreach campaigns, manage early dialogue, and qualify opportunities
Support early‑stage due diligence and handoff to execution teams
Partner directly with PE deal teams and operating partners
Operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial, high‑velocity environment
What They’re Looking For
A self‑starting, competitive, and entrepreneurial individual
Strong communication skills and willingness to cold call, research, and drive sourcing activity
Interest in M&A, private equity, and working closely with investors and management teams
Suited to candidates who enjoy fast‑paced, hands‑on roles
2‑5 years prior experience in deal origination, BD, PE, IB, or transaction advisory
