Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Description
Process payroll accurately and on time for employees across various departments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Handle payroll‑related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Maintain and update payroll records and systems as needed.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Generate payroll reports and provide insights to management.
Manage employee benefits deductions and contributions, including 401k and health benefits.
Assist in audits and implement process improvements within payroll practices.

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
Knowledge of payroll systems and processes, preferably within the retail industry.
Prior experience in multi‑state processing payroll through UKG and/or Kronos.
Exemplary Microsoft Excel Skills.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
