Overview

Part-Time Assistant Manager at Cinemark. This role supports theatre operations and staff development with potential career progression through Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program. Responsibilities

Follow the direction of the General Manager and support GM decisions in communications with staff. Work across all theatre departments and job functions; train and coach team members in their roles. Assist in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager. Inspect the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, property, and equipment; report needs for repairs to the General Manager. Ensure Team Members follow the dress code and provide superior customer service. Learn and enforce Cinemark policies and procedures fairly and consistently. Report employee relations issues to the General Manager (in GM absence, to the designated channel). Adhere to the Employee Relations Reporting Protocol and maintain high work ethic and code of conduct. Identify and address high-contact areas and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment where required. Adapt to cleaning tasks and address safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. High School diploma or GED preferred. Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core). Completes basic food handling training and obtains any required local/state certification, health card, or food handlers permit. Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; regular and consistent attendance. Energetic and friendly attitude; provides excellent guest service. Accurate cash handling and basic math skills. Strong verbal and written communication; able to interact with diverse audiences and work in English. Ability to work in a team and independently; follow directions; respond with urgency. Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail; ability to train and lead others; conflict resolution ability. Physical and Environmental Requirements

Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theatre. Noise level may be moderate to high. Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods. Benefits
