Senior Staff Accountant – Construction Group (OKC)
This is a full‑time permanent position for a Senior Staff Accountant in the construction sector based in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is a key player in the financial management of our organization and offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a fast‑paced, challenging and rewarding environment.
Base Pay Range $60,000 – $80,000 per year

Responsibilities
Overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
Assisting in the development and implementation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
Participating in the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial procedures and systems.
Providing support for internal and external audits.
Assisting with tax preparation and filing.
Participating in special projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proven experience in budget planning, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
