Key Responsibilities Of The Controller
Oversee the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage the month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure the integrity of financial statements.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the executive team, providing key insights into financial performance.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, working closely with department heads to align financial resources with business goals.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Manage and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications For The Controller Role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role, with a proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices in financial reporting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new financial systems.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
