Sponsorship & Strategic Partnerships Lead – Volunteer role for UGBC (US Global Business Council) supporting sponsor engagement for the US Global Innovation & Trade Expo 2026. The expo is a diplomacy-driven platform to advance cross-border trade, institutional investment, and public-private collaboration between the United States and global markets, with a focus on the MENA region.
Role Purpose As part of Expo 2026 preparations, UGBC is appointing Volunteer Sponsorship & Partnerships Leads to support structured sponsor engagement across the Council's official strategic sectors.

Role Scope Role: Sponsorship & Partner Relations Lead
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify institutionally aligned sponsor prospects (U.S. & international)
Conduct professional outreach on behalf of UGBC and Expo 2026
Present sponsorship frameworks clearly and credibly (no hard selling)
Support alignment between sponsor objectives and UGBC's diplomatic mission
Branding & visibility
Speaking or forum inclusion (where approved)
Maintain accurate sponsor pipeline tracking and reporting
Support sponsor onboarding and Expo-week coordination
Targeted outreach: 8–12 qualified institutions per week
Engagement rate: 25–30% response from vetted prospects
Confirmed outcomes: Sponsorship commitments or formal partnership discussions progressed to closing stage
Compliance: 100% adherence to UGBC governance, branding, and reporting standards
Incentive Structure (Performance-Based) Once minimum KPIs are met and approvals granted:
Percentage-based incentive tied to sponsorships personally originated and closed
Structured under UGBC compliance policy and non-profit governance standards
Written authorization only (no informal arrangements)
Recognition within an internationally governed, diplomacy-driven institution
Ministries, embassies, and trade missions
Institutional investors and multinational executives
Priority consideration for future paid or retained roles
Regional or sector leadership positions
Candidate Fit This role is best suited for professionals seeking measured authority, institutional trust, and long-term positioning—not short-term volunteering.
3–6 hours per week
Increased involvement during the final Expo execution phase
