Senior Accountant

Sr Accountant Small non‑profit is seeking a Sr Accountant to join their team. This is a small team where you'll be involved with the month‑end close, financial reporting and external audits. Position is 2x/week in the NYC office.

What You’ll Do:

Own month‑end close, reconciliations, and journal entries

Oversee grant/restricted funds accounting and reporting

Manage AP, payroll/benefits reconciliations, and 1099s

Support audits, 990s, and process improvements

What You Bring:

7+ years’ accounting experience (3+ in nonprofit grants)

QuickBooks & advanced Excel skills
