Job Summary We are seeking a licensed clinical coordinator to oversee patient care processes, support front office and clinical staff, and maintain compliance with medical office requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist front office and clinical staff in developing and implementing short‑ and long‑term work plans and objectives.
Oversee the process to prepare patients for examination and treatment.
Screen telephone calls for referral to physicians.
Develop guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary.
Assist with scheduling of tests and treatment.
Ensure office and clinical supply inventory is current, mail is processed, and offices open/close per procedures.
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system.
Assist front office staff with ensuring point‑of‑service collections are made when applicable.
Qualifications
Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants; coursework in health‑care office management preferred.
RN, LPN (LVN), or additional appropriate education may substitute for certification.
Additional appropriate experience as a Medical Assistant may be substituted.
Five years of clinical experience in a medical office setting required.
RMA, CMA or LPN certificate is beneficial.
CPR certification required.
