School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aurora, Illinois
A K-12 Speech Language Pathologist position is available to provide essential services within multiple school sites in the Aurora, IL area. This contract role runs through the current school year and involves full-time hours, offering a dynamic caseload and the opportunity to serve children across early childhood and elementary levels. The role requires strong bilingual skills in English and Spanish to support a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy to students aged early childhood through elementary school.
Manage caseloads across multiple school locations, including itinerant evaluation responsibilities.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure requirements.
Support language development and communication skills for students in a school environment.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Speech Language Pathology.
Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Candidates with 0-2 years of experience are welcome; supervision will be provided for Certified Fellows.
Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous.
Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week).
