Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a dynamic school district located near Chicago, IL. The position is a full-time contract role for the current school year, with assignments across multiple early childhood and elementary school locations. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to students ages early childhood through elementary level. Manage caseloads that may require itinerant work between up to two school sites. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state licensure and school district standards. Qualifications: Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement. Illinois Speech Language Pathologist licensure. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Candidates with Clinical Fellow (CF) status are eligible, provided supervision can be arranged. Location and Schedule: Assignments are based out of schools in the Elgin, IL area. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day). Contract dates run from early January through mid-May.
