An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential support to K-12 students in a diverse school setting. This role offers the chance to work full-time across multiple early childhood and elementary school locations within the Chicago area, focusing on delivering quality speech and language services to young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Key Qualifications and Experience: Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly preferred Ability to supervise and support Clinical Fellows is a plus Experience working with early childhood and elementary school populations preferred Location: On-site position located in the Chicago metropolitan area, with assignments potentially spread across multiple school sites including early childhood and elementary settings. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy services to students across a caseload that may involve itinerant work between up to two schools. Collaborate with educators and families to tailor interventions that support individual student needs. Maintain documentation and case management in accordance with district policies. Support communication development and language acquisition for diverse learners. Benefits and Perks: Full-time schedule, averaging 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) Opportunity to serve in a multicultural educational setting Contract through the end of the current school year This position is scheduled to start early January with an expected end date in May.
