Responsibilities
Manage a diverse personal injury caseload focusing on auto, trucking, and motorcycle accidents
Provide expert legal advice, guidance, and representation to clients who have suffered personal injuries
Conduct thorough investigations to determine the cause of accidents and identify liable parties
Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and trial briefs
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure fair compensation for clients
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials, passionately advocating for their rights and interests
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal injury laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all legal practices
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and keeping clients informed about progress of cases
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Personal Injury Attorney with a proven track record in auto, trucking, and motorcycle accidents
Current license to practice law in the state
Exceptional negotiation skills and solid understanding of personal injury laws and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking strategically to make sound legal decisions
Proficiency in legal software and technology for case management and research
High level of professionalism and ethical standards
Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
Passion for advocating for clients and a strong commitment to achieving justice
