Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals Support cost accounting and inventory valuation processes by collaborating with operations teams Manage month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards Perform variance analysis and assist in developing financial reports for leadership Requirements
3+ years of professional accounting experience with a strong understanding of US GAAP Apply cost accounting knowledge in a manufacturing environment to support accurate financial reporting Utilize ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms to manage accounting tasks efficiently Show proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to support financial analysis Take initiative in solving problems and improving accounting processes with a proactive mindset Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably from an accredited institution Communicate effectively and professionally across teams and departments Organize tasks with attention to detail and manage multiple priorities with accuracy Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system optimization efforts Adapt to changing business needs and support ad hoc requests as needed REF# #LI-DD1
