Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager Job Location: Universal City, CA Duration: months Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements. Minimum of years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Minimum years of experience conducting complex workplace investigations and partnering with legal counsel as needed. Proven ability to communicate effectively, build trust, and influence outcomes at all levels of the organization. Experience supporting large or high-volume workforces. Demonstrated success managing HR initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong facilitation, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills. Comfortable shifting between strategic planning and hands-on execution as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR or case management systems. Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays as business needs require. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in HR Management, Labor Relations, or related field Experience in union / represented environments and in industries such as retail, hospitality, or entertainment Additional Qualifications / Quals

Conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations, including interviews, fact-finding, and documentation. Prepare clear reports and recommend appropriate actions to support consistent and equitable outcomes. Develop and maintain standardized processes for investigations, documentation, and case tracking. Manage assigned casework independently, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Analyze investigation data to identify trends and recommend proactive interventions. Partner with HR and business leaders to review and enhance policies and practices that foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Partner cross-functionally with Legal and Labor Relations to ensure investigations, recommendations, and outcomes align with company policy and employment law. Provide coaching and training on HR policies, employee relations best practices, and respectful workplace expectations. Use sound judgment and discretion when advising leaders and HR partners on complex or sensitive employee relations matters. Desired Characteristics

Advanced degree in HR management, Organizational Development or Industrial Relations. Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast paced, high change environment. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi tasking skills. Strong facilitation, influencing and conflict resolution skills. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with an HRMS such as SAP and Oracle. Experience in union / represented environments and retail or hospitality industry highly preferred. Ability to develop integrated solutions from inception to post-delivery assessment. Occasional flexibility with working weekends and holidays, if needed.
