Job Description This role is responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple facilities. It includes setting up and configuring various low‑voltage systems, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to end users. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Essential Functions
Set up and configure low‑voltage systems (security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, network cabling).
Run, terminate, and label cables according to project requirements and industry standards.
Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability; identify and resolve issues promptly.
Provide technical support, training, and assistance to end users.
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and report system performance.
Evaluate existing systems to determine upgrades or enhancements; perform upgrades as needed.
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and project managers for successful project completion.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, coordinating work assignments, and ensuring quality.
Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, analyze progress, and identify improvement opportunities.
Demonstrate compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and support corrective actions when needed.

Essential Physical Activities
Communicate effectively in person or via telecommunications equipment.
Grasp, manipulate, and move objects of varying size and weight; lift, carry, and place items up to 50 lbs.
Move up and down ladders or stairs; reach overhead and below the knees.
Operate a motor vehicle and large power equipment safely.
Stand, sit, kneel, or crawl for extended periods; squats and stoops.
Visually inspect equipment, create documents or reports electronically.
Present information to groups and individuals; read small print.
Travel
Travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or work sites, including consecutive overnight stays.
Work or train at multiple facilities or distant locations.
Extended travel of seven days or more is not required except for management training or emergencies.
Work Environment
Move through narrow, confined spaces such as stacks of merchandise, storage areas, and closets.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Training or certification in low‑voltage systems.
BICSI Installer certification.
CompTIA networking certifications (e.g., Network+).
Manufacturer‑specific certifications (Honeywell, Axis, or Bosch systems).
OSHA 10 or 30‑hour certification/training.
NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification.
Technical training or certification in low‑voltage systems.
