Ascendion is partnered with a highly regarded boutique law firm to identify a Senior Corporate / M&A Attorney to join its growing and sophisticated Corporate & Transactions practice. This opportunity offers meaningful, hands‑on deal experience, direct client interaction, and strong work‑life balance within a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including stock and asset purchase agreements, ancillary acquisition documents, employment agreements and NDAs, LLC agreements, stockholder agreements, and other corporate governance materials.
Manage and coordinate transaction workflows with internal teams, clients, and opposing counsel.
Support deal execution while ensuring timelines, quality, and responsiveness are consistently met.
Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on a broad range of M&A and corporate matters.
Ideal Candidate Profile
6–8 years of experience handling mergers & acquisitions and general corporate transactions.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to build client and counterparty relationships.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously.
Team‑oriented professional with a proactive mindset and strong work ethic.
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between
[$250,000 – $290,000] . Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
