Job Description We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to support our overnight production team at our manufacturing plant. This role focuses on quality, safety, and leadership.

Collect shots and samples from the production floor.

Make decisions on print quality issues and work closely with the Shift Supervisor and Technical leads to resolve them.

Perform variable inspections that provide metrology data such as color, clarity, or opacity.

Perform attribute inspections comparing them to established standards that note the presence or absence of a physical, visual, or functional characteristic or defect.

Create visual reference guides per customer requirements.

Conduct various inspections and testing duties.

Maintain quality records and standard books in an orderly manner.

Place materials on hold as needed, determine materials to be scrapped, and may stop a process partially or in whole based on company and customer requirements.

Qualifications

High‑school diploma or GED.

Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing Quality Assurance.

Good attendance record.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports or correspondence.

Strong communication skills for one‑to‑one or small group presentations.

Computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP, and inspection programs.

Experience in print production and/or quality accepted.

Experience in injecting plastic molding is a plus.

Education and Experience Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.

Language Skills Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.

Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, speak, and listen. Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel; occasionally required to taste or smell. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, wet or humid conditions, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.

Job Details Job Type: Full‑time

Shift: 12‑hour Night Shift – 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (2‑2‑3‑2 schedule). Night shift differential applies.

Starting pay: $21.00/hr plus $2.00/hr night shift differential. Bi‑annual bonus compensation.
