About Flynn Panera Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread and operates over 47 cafes, growing rapidly since 2015. The company is led by Market Leaders, Area Directors, General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers, all geared toward delivering a high‑quality café experience.
Position Description Our Panera Bread cafés are upscale, friendly spaces that feature baked breads, pastries, made‑to‑order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. This position is open to morning‑type individuals—no late nights and no fryer usage—providing a grease‑free and alcohol‑free environment for associates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Take responsibility for overall business performance, including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities, bakery operations, and catering.
Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.
Create and execute plans for sustained profitability.
Serve as the primary conduit of information between associates and the management team.
Retain and develop team members and managers.
Manage a budget and control costs.
Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Greet customers and perform table visits to ensure satisfaction.
Inspire associates to have fun and be authentic while generating high productivity.
Coach and mentor associates through one‑on‑one sessions, performance documentation, and reviews.
Anticipate problems and take action to prevent them.
Serve as the primary resource for resolving associate questions.
Ensure associates are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
Recruit and train staff to meet staffing par levels.
Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within company guidelines, cultural values, and ethical practices.
Exhibit a professional image and promote Flynn Panera’s values and beliefs.
Education and Experience
At least 2‑3 years of Hospitality Management experience.
Degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred.
Food Management certifications a plus.
Must possess the "Run it Like You Own It" mentality.
