This position is a coaching role, not a traditional teaching assignment. You will guide gifted students to accelerate their learning 5-10x using adaptive software and motivational strategies rather than scripted lesson plans or classroom discipline protocols. What You Will Be Doing
Create and facilitate dynamic, differentiated phonics instruction for small groups of gifted K-2 learners
Leverage storytelling and interactive methods to drive learning outcomes 5-10x faster than conventional standards
Monitor individual student advancement and modify instruction on the fly to address each cohort's evolving requirements
Provide targeted one-on-one and small group coaching to produce quantifiable gains in adaptive reading and writing applications
Basic Requirements
Available to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance offered)
Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K-2 students
Demonstrated experience with gifted or high-performing learners in specialized educational settings
Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and interpreting student performance data
Strong instructional presence with proven ability to captivate young learners using voice, narrative techniques, and enthusiasm
Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
